Our rating: Nice Hampton Inn right next to the outlet mall in Silverthorne. The room was large and clean. We had a very pleasant stay and would stay here again.

Our rating: In most cases, Hampton Inn hotels offer a very good standard. Again, the hotel was well maintained and made a good impression. The room was large and clean. We would stay here again.

Our rating: The Best Western in Clifton met the normal standard. Nothing special but ok for an overnight stay.

Stone Lizard Lodge

Our rating: The Stone Lazard Lodge is a really nicely renovated, privately run motel. There are rooms in various categories. As availability in the region is limited, we would definitely recommend booking a room in advance.
We liked the Stone Lizard Lodge very much. The facility is clean and very nicely designed. The rooms were also individually decorated and very clean.The breakfast was exceptional, because at a large communal table you could chat with the other travelers. The food was also tasty and a lot more varied than usual. We would stay here again anytime.
Breakfast: Breakfast is included in the room rate and is served in a B&B style breakfast room. There are freshly prepared dishes such as breakfast muffins and egg dishes in addition to the usual items such as bread, coffee, jam, etc.

Best Western Plus at Lake Powell

Our rating: We have stayed at the Best Western at Lake Powell several times. Even if the price often suggests otherwise, the hotel is nothing special. It is a normal Best Western. As it is very busy here, the hotel also gets relatively tired very quickly. The rooms are ok.
Breakfast: Breakfast included in the room price. During our visit in 2018, after a renovation, there were real plates and silverware. This has since been abandoned and breakfast is once again served with a lot of plastic and waste.

Circle D Motel

Our rating: The Circle D Motel is not a particularly great motel that mainly scores with its location. It is a typical American motel that consists of two buildings and offers the possibility to park your car directly in front of the room door.
It was clean and ok during our visit. The room (no.1) was very large and also had another room with a sofa, table and a kitchenette where you could have cooked your own meals. The motel is a bit outdated, but if you don't necessarily need a lot of luxury, this is a good place to stay for exploring the area. We would stay here again.

Austin´s Chuckwagon Motel

Our rating: Austin's Chuck Wagon Motel is located in the center of town and is a nice, family-run motel. The entire facility is very well maintained and clean.
The rooms were functionally furnished and offered everything you need for a pleasant stay. Everything was clean and well-kept. We felt comfortable and would stay here again, especially because of the great location.

Our rating: The Comfort Inn is one of the few motel options in Green River. The hotel was relatively new when we visited in 2018 and was up to normal standards. Everything was clean. Nothing special, but ok for one night.

Our rating: Nice Hampton Inn, in a good location in Grand Junction. Right on Main St you can walk to many restaurants and stores. The room was large and everything was very clean. We would stay here again.

Our rating: We chose this Hampton Inn because we didn't want to stay directly in Denver. It is also close to lots of restaurants and stores. The airport was also relatively easy to reach from here. The hotel was very well maintained. The room was large and clean. We would stay here again.
