Saint Lawrence River
Description: The Saint Lawrence Stream is the third largest river in North America and carries the waters of the Great Lakes toward the Atlantic Ocean. Its spring is located in Minnesota. If you include the lakes through which the river flows, its length is almost 3000km.
Our rating: In October 2021, we spent several days along the Saint Lawrence River in Quebec. We were most impressed by the size of this waterway. Often you can't see the opposite shore and therefore you have the impression that you are at the ocean. During our trip on the Gaspé Peninsula we drove along numerous small, pretty villages. If you like the water, pretty lighthouses and sleepy towns, you will definitely get your money's worth here.
