Eroded Rocks
Description: The small area of Eroded Rocks can be found north of Factory Butte. Since there are several dirt roads branching off here, it is easiest to get there with a tracking devise. Basically, you drive north on Factory Butte Rd. then after about 9.5mi you take a turn off to the east. Coordinate: Latitude: 38.486066; Longitude: -110.919564. After another kilometer on this road, park the car on the side of the road. The Eroded Rocks are located on the left side. You can already see them from the road. There are no paths, you can move freely in the area and explore everything.
Our rating: The area is not particularly large. Within a good hour we have explored and photographed everything interesting for us. It may not be the most spectacular location, but if you're in the area anyway, it's definitely worth a visit. There are some interesting rock formations and it's fun to explore them. It's also great to combine with a visit to Factory Butte and Moonscape Overlook.
