Skutumpah Road

Description: Skutumpah Road is an approximately 32.5mi long unpaved Scenic Road. It connects Johnson Canyon Rd. to the west with Cannonville to the east. There are several points of interest to explore along the road. Before setting out, however, you should check the road conditions, because the road is often not passable or only partially passable.

Our rating: We drove the route mainly because we wanted to visit Lick Wash and Willis Creek. The landscape around it is quite nice, but in our opinion not to compare with the parallel Cottonwood Canyon Road.

3.5/5

Since all locations described here are on dirt roads, it is always important to keep an eye on the road conditions. Before and after precipitation, we strongly advise against driving on any dirt road.
