Angel Peak Scenic Area
Description: The Angel Peak Scenic Area is located above the Kutz Canyon Badlands. There is a road along the rim, from which one can enjoy the view of the badlands in the depth at several viewpoints. Picnic areas also invite you to take a short break. During our visit in October 2012, we were quite late and therefore enjoyed the sunset at the first viewpoint, the Badlands Overlook. We didn't drive the road at the Rim all the way to Angel Peak. The road we drove was very good passable.
Our rating: Quite nice viewpoint overlooking huge badlands. We liked it quite well. At some point we definitely want to drive the entire road at the rim to Angel Peak again.
