Seven Magic Mountains

Description: The brightly colored giant stone columns by Swiss artist Ugo Rondinone are located a few miles south of Las Vegas. In the middle of nowhere in the desert, the columns are visible from far away. They were installed in May 2016 and were originally intended to be on temporary display. However, as the columns enjoyed increasing popularity they became a permanent exhibit. At the columns there is a large parking lot from which you can reach the columns via a well-maintained path.

Our rating: During our visit in April 2022, the place was a madhouse. There was almost a human migration going on. The large parking lot was fully occupied. Accordingly, we were only moderately enthusiastic. The experience is nevertheless limited, if around us such a hustle and bustle prevails. On occasion, we want to give the place another chance and hopefully then on a less busy day.
