*The Anual Pass is so to speak the "flat rate" for all Parks managed by the National Park Service. The pass costs a one-time fee of $80 and can be purchased at the entrance to each National Park, National Monument, etc. The pass is valid for 13 months.

Hagen Canyon Trail
Description: Red Rock Canyon State Park offers scenic sanstone cliffs, rock ledges, and spectacular rock formations. Along the Hagen Canyon Natural Trail, you can see many of these colorful, sometimes bizarrely shaped rocks. The trail is one of the most popular in the park.

Difficulty level: easy
Our rating: We liked the Hagen Canyon Trail very much. In a relatively short time you get a very good impression of the park. The bizarrely shaped rocks always offer variety and so the short trail is never boring. The many photo motifs have made our stay here definitely longer than planned.
Red Cliff
Description: Red Rock Canyon offers magnificent views of the pristine desert landscape and the great red sandstone cliffs. Especially here at the Red Cliffs there are also opportunities to climb the rocks.
Our rating: The Red Cliffs offer a spectacular view of the great red sandstone cliffs. A stop here is worthwhile even if you do not plan to climb or hike.
Iron Canyon Road
Description: The approximately 5mi Iron Canyon Road is a relatively easy dirt road that winds around the red cliffs of Red Rock Canyon State Park. The route is not technical, but has a few hills that might require a 4-wheel drive. The views along the way are beautiful as you get very close to the high cliffs.
Our rating: The ranger at the visitor center had recommended this road to us. She had pointed out to us that we might need 4-wheel drive on the hills. In the end, however, the route was quite easy to drive and because of the great views and photo opportunities was definitely worth it. If you have a suitable car, we can recommend this road. Here you can enjoy nature all to yourself.
