*The Anual Pass is so to speak the "flat rate" for all Parks managed by the National Park Service. The pass costs a one-time fee of $80 and can be purchased at the entrance to each National Park, National Monument, etc. The pass is valid for 13 months.

Rifle Falls SP
Description: The main attraction of the small state park is the 21m high triple waterfall. It is reached by a short, easy trail from the parking lot. There is a trail about a mile long that you can walk on the cliffs and around the falls. It can get very crowded on weekends and holidays. If the parking lot is full, you have to wait at the entrance until parking becomes available again.
Our rating: We visited the falls in the afternoon at the end of May 2023. Who would like to have here no backlight should rather be here in the morning. But although the falls were already in the shade, we liked it here quite well. The three adjacent waterfalls are special and worth a short visit. In an hour you should have seen everything important.
