Montezuma Castle NM
Description: Montezuma Castle consists of 20 rooms distributed over 5 floors. It is accessible only by ladders. Today it is not open to visitors, you can only admire it from the outside. Montezuma Castle has been a National Monument since 1906 to preserve this special place for posterity.
Our rating: For anyone interested in Native American history and culture, the National Monument is certainly a special place. Other than the castle, there's not much else to see here. We wouldn't drive a big detour for it, but if you're in the area, it's also worth a short visit.
