Myrtle Beach

Description: Myrtle Beach is a city on the Atlantic coast. It is located on the border with North Carolina and is almost completely developed for tourism.

So if you want to spend a vacation by the ocean, this is the place to be, because there is everything a beach vacationer's heart desires. Besides beautiful beaches, there are plenty of stores, restaurants and recreational opportunities.

Our rating: We were actually in Myrtle Beach for one reason only. There is a Hard Rock Café here that we wanted to visit. The place itself would not necessarily be our cup of tea, because it would be much too crowded for our taste. But if you like real tourist places by the ocean, you'll definitely like it here.
