Yankee Stadium

Description: Yankee Stadium is the home of the legendary New York Yankees. The Yankees play in the Eastern Division of the American Baseball League and are by far the most successful team in the USA with 27 World Series victories. The current Yankee Stadium is located in the Bronx and was opened in 2009. It holds almost 50000 spectators. Before and after the game, by the way, you can also visit the attached Hard Rock Café.

Our rating: During our visit in October 2011, we had the opportunity to watch a Yankees game against the Boston Red Sox. A classic, as the Boston Red Sox also have a very long tradition. Even though baseball can be rather a tough and tedious affair for the spectator, it was a huge fun to watch a game live for once. We were immediately in conversation with all the people around us and so it was all around a great experience that we can recommend to every New York visitor.
