Around Bryant Park
Midtown Manhattan - New York City
Bryant Park
Description: Bryant Park is the little, actually tiny, lung of Midtown Manhattan. It is located in the middle between 5th and 6th Avenue. Due to its central location, it is popular with both New Yorkers and tourists. It invites you to take a short break from the hustle and bustle of everyday life in the city. During the summer, many open-air events are held here, and during the winter, an ice-skating rink is set up.
Our rating: This park is really nice and feels like an oasis in the middle of the city. It offers shade and many places to rest a little. It's a good place to stop by.
Public Library
Description: The Public Library is located at the east end of Bryant Park, just off 5th Avenue. The public library is one of the largest in the world. Among other things, a Gutenberg Bible can be found here. You can visit the library during normal opening hours and explore on your own.
Our rating: A pretty building, not a must see, but a nice place to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. We enjoyed strolling through the building a bit.

Grand Central Terminal
Description: Inaugurated in 1913 as a terminus station, Grand Central Terminal is a huge rail hub in Midtown Manhattan. The tracks are located on several levels under the huge main concourse. In 1975, Grand Central Terminal was listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
Grand Central Terminal is also famous for having served as a set for countless movies, series and television productions.

Our rating: Just because we knew the station from movies and TV, it was clear that we had to see the great hall from the inside. As you would expect from such a hub, it is very busy here. People from all directions come together and separate again. A nice place that is worth a visit.
Oh yes, there is also an Apple Store on the gallery in the main hall.
