Power House Falls

Description: The waterfall take his name from the old power station right next to it. The building has seen better days, but together with the waterfall it offers a nice photo opportunity. Since the waterfall is only a mile away from the main road, it is very easy to reach. You can park right in front of it.

Our rating: Certainly not a location for which you have to drive long detours, but a pretty little waterfall that is worth the small detour if you are in the area.

Ogemaw Falls

Description: Ogemaw Falls is a hidden treasure not far from US-41. The waterfall isn't big, but it's perfect for a short detour. To get there, drive 3.5mi west on Baraga Plains Road and park just at the pond on the left. This is the start of the short, approximately 0.2mi trail through the forest, to the waterfall.

Our rating: This small waterfall is also not an absolute must-see, but it is also worth a little detour if you are in the area.
