The Henry Ford

Description: The Henry Ford Museum of American Innovation is part of the largest indoor-outdoor museum complex in the United States and is visited by over 1.7 million people every year. The museum collection includes countless vehicles of all kinds as well as many other historical exhibits. The museum was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1969.

Our rating: Ok, from my point of view as a girl, this wasn't necessarily the museum I was most looking forward to, but Ford is part of Detroit and the museum was rated as great everywhere. So it made it onto our list. There are many, many vehicles and machines of all kinds on display. However, as these are historically relevant on the one hand and very attractively displayed on the other, we think that the museum is definitely worth a visit even for non-car fans. Anyway, we stayed until we were politely reminded of the closing times. We think it's worth a visit.
