Carl´s Critter Garden
Description: Hanksville is in the middle of nowhere. Calling it desolate wouldn't be fair, but it really isn't far from it. That's precisely why the colorful sculptures built from all sorts of junk immediately catch your eye. The site is public and there is no entrance fee. You just park along the road and can immediately start exploring.
Our rating: Since we like such small, somewhat obscure places, we enjoyed being here quite a bit. It's very interesting to see where some people's creativity ends up. Anyway, we enjoyed walking around the grounds and exploring the various works of art. Certainly not a must-see, but well worth a short stop for us.
