Our rating: We visited the campus of the university in September 2002. We can recommend a visit, because even if you are not interested in the university, the many beautiful buildings are very worth seeing.
Rocky Falls
Description: There are several small and larger waterfalls along Fall Creek in Ithaca. One of them is the Rocky Fall. The pretty 33ft high waterfall is located directly across from Cornell University. Since 1904 it has been generating green energy. The best place to see it is from a small suspension bridge that crosses Fall Creek next to the waterfall.
For the GPS: 7629 County Highway 1/04, Ithaca, NY 14850
Our rating: The waterfall was a nice reason to stretch our legs a bit and explore the area during our visit to Cornell University in September 2002.
