Atlantic City

Description:  The city was founded in 1854 as a health resort. Today, with its numerous casinos, hotels, restaurants and stores, it is a place of entertainment on the Atlantic Ocean. Also famous is the wooden promenade that runs along the casinos on the beach and invites you to stroll and linger.

Our rating: In October 2008, we paid Atlantic City only a short flying visit, because we wanted to visit the Hard Rock Café. Actually, such places are not really our cup of tea, but the whole thing has its charm at the ocean. Let's see if we will visit Atlantic City again.
