The way to the Nautilus

Description: The way to Nautilus is very simple and just as easy to find. First, driving from Page, go west on Highway 89 for 30mi. Then, at the Paria Contact Station, turn left onto White House Road. Follow this unpaved road for about 1.5mi. You can park before or after the wash directly on White House Road  and hike the wash a few hundred meters in a northeasterly direction until you get to the Nautilus. In dry conditions, the trail is very easy to hike. When wet, it becomes a muddy mess.

Trail length: approx. 1.4mi roundtrip
Altitude difference:
Time needed: 1-2 hours
Difficulty level: easy

Our rating: Beautiful location that we like very much. Especially the snow-white sandstone between all the red stones is a great change. We can definitely recommend the little hike to Nautilus.
