Jack Daniel
Description: Jack Daniel's, the famous Tennessee whiskey is produced in the small town of Lynchburg. In 1866, it was the first distillery to be listed on a U.S. commercial register. The whiskey is produced and marketed from here. You can book numerous tours and also taste different types of whiskey at some of them. The tours offered have different prices, as they are based on the quality of the whiskey varieties you taste at the end of the tours. The classic tour takes you through the distillery and you learn everything possible worth knowing about the production and storage of the brown drink.
Our rating: We have visited the distillery twice so far. During our first visit in 1994, it was not yet possible to taste whiskey here. However, this has been possible for a few years now and so we took another tour with tasting in October 2016. The guided tour of the site is very interesting. As for the whiskey, let's just say that to really judge it, you would probably have to be more familiar with the drink. It is interesting in any case.
