Gresham´s Mill

Description: About 34mi north of Atlanta is this nice little photo op. The suspected gold mine was built around 1820 and is a testament to early settlement history. Coming from Atlanta, the mill is reached via Interstate 575, taking Exit 11 Sixes Road, turning left and you' re almost standing in front of the object of interest. The mill is on private property and can only be photographed from the road.

Our rating: We liked the mill itself very much. The circumstances to get a photo were a bit more difficult. There are no parking spaces. The mill is located on a busy 4-lane road. We parked in a driveway right next to the mill, but there are signs everywhere prohibiting parking. For a photo with the mill lit up, we would recommend the afternoon.
