Shore Acres SP
Description: Shore Acres State Park is located about 13mi south of North Bend on the Oregon coast. Most visitors probably come here for the rose garden. But besides the beautifully landscaped gardens, the SP has quite a great stretch of coastline with bizarrely shaped rocks to offer.
Our rating: We were here in June 2015 because of the amazing rocks. If you walk a few hundred feet north from the parking lot, you can dive into a small wonderland of interestingly shaped rocks. We had a lot of fun here to go in search of beautiful photo opportunities. For the park you can plan a good 2-3 hours.
